About the "Chick InnKeeper"

I am Carroll Abbott, owner of The Chick InnKeeper in Greenville, Georgia, formerly Thomaston. I was raised on a farm in South Georgia and spent most of my life in grocery business with a large grocery chain and later owned two convenient stores. I have always had the desire to, in some way, get back to my roots. Since retirement I have been working with raising and breeding quality poultry. I’ve always taken pride in whatever I attempted and with my birds it’s even more. I strive to have the best quality always. My desire is to have the best to offer at a reasonable price for anyone who would like a little country in their backyard.

The Chick InnKeeper is a family owned business. My wife, Deborah, and I love our chickens and are passionate about the care we give each and every bird. We also enjoy the fruit of the hen’s labor. We just love eggs.

We look forward to serving you with your poultry needs, whether it’s for breeding purposes or just a few chickens to enjoy in the backyard.
